Planning guide

Build coverage around the places that matter.

Cover entrances and high-risk areas first, then choose the connection, recording, and camera features that make those views useful.

1. Map the zones

  • Entrances and exits
  • Cash desk, reception, or service area
  • Garage, yard, loading dock, or gate
  • Blind corners and high-value inventory zones

2. Choose the connection type

  • Use PoE where stable wired recording matters.
  • Use PTZ where one camera must scan a wider area.
  • Use solar or battery cameras where cabling is difficult.
  • Use NVR storage when local retention matters.

3. Define recording needs

  • How many days of recording are required?
  • Do cameras record continuously or on motion?
  • Is 4K needed everywhere, or only at entrances?
  • Will managers need mobile remote access?

4. Confirm the complete parts list

Start with a complete QuarkView system or ask for a recommendation. Optional property details help refine camera count, storage, and accessories.
