Use a housing that fits each position
The mixed system pairs bullet and dome views so indoor areas and outdoor approaches can share one recording layout. Person and vehicle detection helps focus alerts on activity relevant to entrances, deliveries and occupied spaces.
Keep the day and night views useful
Infrared and white LEDs provide night illumination; visible light supports colour footage. The microphones add ambient sound to recordings, while the speakers allow conversation through the system. Name the channels by location so playback follows the site layout.
Installation and support
Bench-connect the selected cameras and recorder, then label the cable routes and camera positions. Initialise the recording drive and set channel names, time zone and recording schedule before mounting. Use the QuarkView guides below for installation and storage planning.
