Use an existing light socket to add a compact QuarkView camera for checking an entrance or room. The 2MP camera combines Wi-Fi access, motion tracking and two-way talk without a separate battery.
Power and maintenance
The light socket supplies power. Keep its switch on when the camera is needed, and use a fitting suited to the supplied camera and location.
Network and recording
Check Wi-Fi at the socket before installation and follow the pairing instructions supplied with the camera. Choose the no-card or 64GB card option, then save a test clip and check that you can retrieve it. Live viewing and saved recording are separate functions.
Installation and setup
Use a suitable powered light fitting with an unobstructed view in a sheltered household location. Keep the power switch on while the camera is needed. Setup help is available through QuarkView support.
