The system combines thirty-two 5MP outdoor cameras and two 16-port PoE switches. This is an IP NVR layout using separate switches for camera power. Keep switch uplinks and the recorder on the recording network.
Give each view a location-based name and use the camera groups to plan bitrate and retention. Microphone and speaker audio support conversation at the camera. Name channels by entrance, aisle or building so the recording layout follows the site plan.
